Grande Prairie Traffic Noise - November 2020

Since 2002, the City of Grande Prairie has been collecting sound level measurements to characterize traffic noise in residential neighbourhoods. Golder Associates Ltd. was retained by the City to carry out the 2020 traffic noise monitoring program.

Golder Associates Ltd. executed the 2020 traffic noise monitoring program during the period of September 15 to 17, 2020. Sound level measurements were collected at 14 residental receptors located throughout Grande Prairie. The results of the 2020 traffic noise monitoring program are presented in this report.

84 Street (68-132 Ave) Functional Study

The City of Grande Prairie retained Stantec Consulting Ltd. (Stantec) to complete a Functional Planning Study for 84 Street from 68 Avenue to 132 Avenue, which has a total length of approximately 6.4 kilometres. 84 Street in an important component to the city's long term arterial road network. Ultimately, it will function as the primary northbound/southbound traffic corridor on the east side of the city and provide direct connections to 116 Avenue and 132 Avenue to complete the arterial road network "grid".

Servicing Agreement Inspection Request

This form is used to request an inspection in regard to a development agreement. Once complete, a representative from the City of Grande Prairie or Aquatera will contact the applicant to confirm the inspection.

A development agreement is a contractual agreement between the City and/or Aquatera and the Developer ensuring that infrastructure required to service a proposed development is constructed to the City's standards. It contains information such as applicable fees and securities.
