The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of local youth who meet to discuss current issues in Grande Prairie. YAC connects with the City Council, city departments and committees, and local agencies to engage, learn, and collaborate. YAC is truly an opportunity for youth to inspire change!
Grande Prairie’s YAC is open to youth ages 14 to 24. Members are a mix of high school students, college students, and young professionals. They represent a unique combination of backgrounds, interests, and experiences. YAC members are supported to have a positive impact on the community through awareness, advocacy, and representation.
