Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS)

The Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) is a tool created by the Government of Canada to help organizations that support people experiencing homelessness. It’s a system that allows service providers in the same community to collect, access and share real-time information, improving coordination and support for those in need.

The City of Grande Prairie has launched the use of HIFIS, in partnership with local service providers listed below.

Local HIFIS service providers:

  4. Grande Prairie Youth Emergency Shelter Society
  5. Hearth Social Project Company
  6. The Mustard Seed Society
