Public ways to support an idea
Residents, associations, and organizations can share ideas or initiatives with Council in several ways. This input helps Council see how the ideas align with community priorities and guides their decision-making. These methods are designed to make it easier to communicate these goals with elected officials beyond the formal petition process.
How to express an idea or initiative:
Residents can express support for an idea, initiative, or request to Council in the following ways:
Write or email a letter to Council and send it to the City Clerk’s Office.
