The City of Grande Prairie invites you to serve on the Joint Appeals Board as a Public Member. There will be 3 positions available beginning January 1, 2026. Please click here for an application form.

Establishment

The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board is established by Bylaw C-1444.

The General Appeals Board is established by Bylaw C-1469.

Mandate

The Subdivision & Development Appeal Board hears appeals from any person affected by an order, decision or development permit issued by the Development Authority.

Membership

• Up to 8 members of the Public appointed by Council

Meeting Time

Meetings are scheduled upon receipt of appeals.

Remuneration

Remuneration for the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board can be claimed as per Bylaw C-1444.
