Grande Prairie has two spray parks open during the summer season to help you beat the heat.
Lions Park, at 9933 90 Avenue features:
- Picnic tables.
- Shady treed area.
- Washroom facilities.
- Playground.
Regular hours seasonally are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily starting May 29, 2025.
Please note, Lions Park playground and spray park are closed as of July 7, 2025 for the 2025 season due to construction of the new Jumpstart Inclusive Playground. The playground is set to be complete mid-late September and the spray park will re-open in summer 2026.
Muskoseepi Park, north of the Aquatera Outdoor Pool features:
- Picnic tables.
- Shady treed area.
- Washroom facilities available inside the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion.
- Two playgrounds.
Extended hours seasonally this year are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily starting May 28, 2025.
