The City of Grande Prairie offers a charter service which you can hire to transport your guests to a special event within the region of Grande Prairie. GP Transit can be your solution for your transportation needs.
Our charter buses can transport 37 passengers by seat and an additional 15 passengers standing.
There is a 2 hour minimum charge for any charter service. Applicants are obligated to pay full cost of the charter – this includes travel time from and back to the transit garage.

Booking a Charter Service
- Fill out the Charter Service Request Form. Submit your completed request form seven days prior to your event by fax at 780-538-4667 or by email to gptransit@cityofgp.com.
- Contact the Citizen Contact Centre at 780-538-0300 to confirm your request has been received.
Changes and Cancellation Policy
Changes/Cancellations must be informed and acknowledge minimum 24 hours prior to event. There will be a 2 hour minimum charge if cancellation is less than 24 hours to event. Changes to event schedule on short notice will be accommodated if possible.
