- Incorporation as a Registered Society, which allows the association to obtain insurance and liability coverage, enter into legal contracts, own property, fundraise, and apply for grants.
- The ability to advocate on behalf of neighbours for community needs, support neighbourhood initiatives, bring residents together to achieve common goals, and strengthen communication between the neighbourhood and the City of Grande Prairie.
- Representation for all residents, business owners, and property owners within the neighbourhood's boundaries at no cost. Neighbourhood Associations also provide opportunities for individuals to get involved in a variety of ways, including serving on the Board of Directors or volunteering to support neighbourhood projects and events.
