Transit Access Program

Transit Access Program

The Transit Access Program helps to ensure all residents of Grande Prairie have access to public transit and can stay connected to their community.

It offers a 50% subsidy on the monthly Grande Prairie Transit SUPERPASS to qualifying applicants. The SUPERPASS is a re-loadable electronic smart card used to pay your bus fare.

To be eligible, applicants’ income must not exceed the Low-Income Cut-Off level determined by Statistics Canada +30%.

Applications to access the program can be completed year-round. Proof of address, household income, and documentation for dependent children are all required for the application.

Visit our Transit Access Program Application page to download an application or apply through online registration.
