CKC Donation & Sponsorship Application

The Community Knowledge Campus (CKC) Donation and Sponsorship application is for organizations and event planners looking for donations or sponsorship from CKC, which includes the Eastlink Centre, Design Works Centre, Aquatera Outdoor Pool, Hansen Lincoln Field and Dave Barr Community Centre.

Fees and Timelines

There is no fee to submit this application.

Provide a minimum of 14 days before the date you require the donation/sponsorship for the committee to review your application.

Annual aquatics maintenance shutdown begins September 3

The Eastlink Centre annual maintenance shutdown is scheduled to take place from September 3-27.  

The shutdown maintenance helps ensure the facility’s longevity by completing preventative work, repairs, a deep clean and upgrades to amenities. By prioritizing repairs and maintenance to happen during the annual shutdown, the Eastlink Centre can provide a superior experience for residents while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. 

Contractors and City staff will prioritize the following tasks during the shutdown:

Only one week left to register for the 2024 Eastlink Centre Triathlon

Registration closes on Sunday, June 30 for the Eastlink Centre Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, July 7. 

“We are looking forward to this year’s Eastlink Centre Triathlon being the greatest turnout yet,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “There are less than 50 spots left, so make sure you register before the deadline to make unforgettable memories at this year’s triathlon.” 

Registration now open for 2024 Eastlink Centre Triathlon

Registration is now open for the 2024 Eastlink Centre Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, July 7.

Race categories include adult, Kids of Steel and an exciting new category for children ages five and under. The Eastlink Centre Triathlon has also been awarded the Triathlon Alberta 2024 Super Sprint Provincial Championships, also known as the Try-it/Super Sprint category for ages 14 and older. The championship provides a platform for top athletes in the province to showcase their abilities and compete against the best in the province. 

Residents invited to participate in Community Knowledge Campus Annual Survey

The City of Grande Prairie has launched its annual survey for the Community Knowledge Campus (CKC) to gather feedback on residents’ satisfaction with amenities, membership value and overall satisfaction with the campus.

“This feedback survey is a valuable opportunity for us to understand how residents perceive CKC and what it offers,” said Community Knowledge Campus Director Angela Redding. “The input gathered will allow us to identify potential gaps that may exist and explore opportunities to enhance our services and amenities.”
