Registration is now open for the 2024 Eastlink Centre Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, July 7.
Race categories include adult, Kids of Steel and an exciting new category for children ages five and under. The Eastlink Centre Triathlon has also been awarded the Triathlon Alberta 2024 Super Sprint Provincial Championships, also known as the Try-it/Super Sprint category for ages 14 and older. The championship provides a platform for top athletes in the province to showcase their abilities and compete against the best in the province.
“We're excited to keep up the momentum from 2023, where we saw 292 registered participants. This year, we’re aiming to increase our registration to 400 participants, so I encourage athletes of all ages and fitness levels to join us for this exciting event,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton.
The Eastlink Centre Triathlon is a Triathlon Alberta sanctioned event and all athletes must have a Triathlon Alberta membership to participate. Triathlon Alberta day memberships cost $20 for adults and $15 per athlete in a team and can be added to your cart during registration. Kids of Steel Triathlon Alberta membership is included with the registration price.
As part of registration, all participants will receive special commemorative swag items and a carb-load dinner sponsored by Red Rock.

Early Bird Pricing
The City is offering ways to save on Eastlink Centre Triathlon fees with early bird rates available until May 15, 2024, for adult races. Additionally, Eastlink Centre members can enjoy a 10 per cent discount on registration fees, and a limited amount of free registration spots for Kids of Steel are available thanks to various sponsors. These free spots are labelled as “Sponsored” in the registration portal.
