Youth Week runs May 1 to 8 in Grande Prairie, offering a range of opportunities for youth to stay active, build skills and explore future pathways.

Monday, May 4

Fitness Centre Orientations - 5 to 7 p.m. | Eastlink Centre Fitness Centre 

• Extra support for youth getting started in the Fitness Centre, including guidance on equipment use and safe, effective workouts.
  • Cost: Eastlink Centre Drop-in Fee or membership 

Tuesday May 5

FlowRider Showcase - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Eastlink Centre Aquatics 

• A high-energy session featuring demonstrations and opportunities to see what FlowRider programming can look like.
  • Cost: Eastlink Centre Drop-in Fee or membership 

AquaZumba Feature - 8 to 9 p.m. | Eastlink Centre Aquatics 

• A fun, low-impact water workout that combines Zumba-style movement with aquatic exercise.
  • Cost: Eastlink Centre Drop-in Fee or membership

Junior Lifeguard Club Showcase - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Eastlink Centre 

• An introduction to water safety and lifesaving skills in a flexible, drop-in format.

Youth Career Discovery Expo -10 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Bonnetts Energy Centre

• Explore career and education pathways through hands-on exhibits and interactive booths. Connect with more than 100 exhibitors and take part in an interactive bingo activity with opportunities to win prizes.
