Open Door Cafe (formerly known as Community Interagency and Salad Social) is a joint initiative brought to you by The United Way Alberta Northwest, the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta and Community Social Development (CSD) at the City of Grande Prairie. This new initiative is an integration of the CSD Interagency and the United Way’s Salad Social, bringing agencies together to network and partner. The three partners have been discussing changes and how to better collaborate in the community and this is the first step in creating a collaborative effort.
Interagency is essential to learn what other agencies are doing, to promote what your programs are doing, and provides e-mail communication between agencies regarding events, employment opportunities, or new services.
Open Door Cafe takes place virtually on Zoom to accommodate those in our Northwestern Alberta Region. 2022 dates include- January 13, February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 9, September 1, October 6 and November 3.
