FCSS Funding Framework 2023-2026
The City of Grande Prairie has partnered with the Government of Alberta to deliver FCSS since 1966–67. FCSS is an 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities or Métis Settlements to develop locally driven prevention based social initiatives that enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
Food Access & Affordability Survey 2023 Results
With the rising cost of food and essentials, The City of Grande Prairie, in collaboration with F.A.S.T, conducted a city-wide survey of all its residents to understand Grande Prairie’s perspective on food insecurity, its root causes, and possible solutions and to identify whether residents are aware of the community resources that are available to them during times of need.

Hospital Economic Impact & Gap Analysis
The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Economic Impact & Gap Analysis was completed in October 2016 to measure the economic impact of the $730 million facility and to assess Grande Prairie’s capacity for supporting the increase in demand arising from the requirements of the new regional hospital.
