Celebrate Halloween in the heart of the city! The Halloween Spooktacular returns to downtown Grande Prairie for a full day of family fun, community connection and spooky excitement.

The event begins inside The Bowes at Bonnetts Energy Centre, featuring fun and inclusive activities for all ages:

Date: Saturday, October 25, 2024

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Gentle Ghouls Sensory Hour starts at 10 a.m.)

Location: The Bowes at Bonnetts Energy Centre and 100 Avenue (between 99 Street and 101 Street).

Cost: Free!

Event details:

• 10 - 11 a.m. - Gentle Ghouls Sensory Hour (sponsored by Goodwill), is designed to provide a quieter environment for families and children with sensory sensitivities 
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Family activities including a haunted house, live DJ and entertainment. 
• 11:30 a.m. - Children's costume contest 
• 12 p.m. - Free hot dog lunch with cookies and juice
• The celebration moves outdoors from 1 to 3 p.m., where families can enjoy trick or treating at downtown businesses along 100 Avenue and throughout the downtown area. 

This event is hosted by the City of Grande Prairie and the Downtown Association, with support from Goodwill and downtown businesses.
