The City of Grande Prairie is pleased to announce the return of Engage Grande Prairie, a four-day event running from June 10 to 13. The event offers residents the chance to explore City departments and programs while providing input to help shape the 2026 municipal budget.
Each day of the event focuses on a specific service area, giving residents the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and better understand how the City serves the community. A combined session featuring all departments will also be offered to increase accessibility and provide a second opportunity to engage.

Opportunities to share feedback online for the 2026 budget are available at engage.cityofgp.com/budget2026 until July 4, 2025, and include:
- A Prioritize Tool to rank the projects you feel should receive funding
- A Taxpayer Receipt Tool to estimate how your tax dollars are allocated to City services
- An Open Budget Portal to dive into detailed financial data from the City
- An idea space to share your thoughts by answering brainstorming questions
- A Q&A space to ask City staff your budget-related questions
