The City of Grande Prairie would like to remind property owners to ensure that any outstanding property tax balances are paid before December 31, 2024, to avoid additional penalties.

Please note, due to the Canada Post strike, tax reminder letters may not be received by December 31 to notify property owners. If outstanding taxes are not paid by December 31, 2024, a six per cent penalty will be applied to the total outstanding balance on January 1, 2025, as outlined in Bylaw C-1138.

To make payment more convenient, the City accepts multiple payment methods: cash, online banking, debit, cheque, money order, or bank draft. Please note that e-transfers are not accepted.
