The City of Grande Prairie is hosting a Candidate Information Session on August 20 to support residents interested in running for municipal office in the 2025 Municipal Election.  

Introduction to Municipal Budgeting

The information session takes place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Grande Prairie Museum & Heritage Village. This session is designed to provide information about the municipal budget and the responsibilities of elected officials in the budget approval process.
