The City of Grande Prairie, with support from Aquatera Utilities Inc. and Goodwill Industries of Alberta, is hosting the annual Drop & Swap event from October 1 to 4. This fashionably free event encourages sustainability and waste reduction by allowing participants to donate gently used clothing and swap for new-to-you items. Come refresh your wardrobe while helping reduce landfill waste!

Date: October 1-4, 2025
Time:

• Drop-Off: October 1, 2, and 3, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Details: Residents can bring their clean, new, or gently used clothing items for donation during these days. Your contributions will help make this event a success!
• Swap: October 4, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Details: Residents are invited to return to the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion to take part in the clothing swap. Find new additions to your wardrobe and promote sustainable fashion in our community. 

Location: Ernie Radbourne Pavilion, Muskoseepi Park

Cost: Free

Event Activities:

• Drop off new or gently used clothing.
• Swap and take home new-to-you items (no donation required).
• Learn about sustainability and waste reduction.

Additional Information:
Participants are encouraged to bring reusable bags for the swap. Remaining items will be collected by Goodwill Industries of Alberta for reuse, resale or repurposing.
