Non-profit agencies, social service providers, community partners and businesses within the Grande Prairie region are encouraged to nominate individuals, teams and organizations who make a meaningful difference in the community. Submissions honour contributions to the social services sector, positive impacts on wellbeing and a demonstrated commitment to supporting others.
The Passionate Heart Celebration now features one formal award and three recognition categories, allowing multiple outstanding nominees to be acknowledged.
Chris Henderson Lifetime Service Award, sponsored by Aztec Engineering
(Single award presented each year)
Honouring individuals with 25 or more years of significant service within the social services sector. This award recognizes a lifetime of dedication, leadership and impact that has strengthened community wellbeing.
Recognition Categories
Exceptional Individual, sponsored by Any Time Towing: For front-line staff with at least two years of experience in policing, child and family services, youth services, social services or education.
Exceptional Team, sponsored by Aquatera: For non-profit social agencies or social service teams demonstrating collaboration, dedication and meaningful community impact.
Exceptional Business: For businesses that provide outstanding support to social service initiatives or community wellbeing.
Nomination Information
Review the award and recognition categories and select the one that best reflects the individual, team, business or organization you wish to nominate. As part of the submission, you will be asked to describe the nominee’s contributions and impact. Please ensure your nominee meets the eligibility criteria.
