Starting Tuesday, June 15, the City of Grande Prairie’s 2021 Traffic Signal Program is getting underway throughout the city.

Inspections are being conducted at 14 intersections throughout Grande Prairie until June 19. A total of 63 traffic signal poles will be inspected to ensure they are in good working condition and continue to meet City standards.

To complete the inspections safely traffic will periodically be down to single lane, alternating traffic. Drivers are reminded to watch for workers in all construction areas and to pay attention to all posted signage.
