The Business Resiliency Taskforce is encouraging all businesses in the area to complete a survey being conducted by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce network, in collaboration with Economic Developers Alberta and Community Futures.

The survey will collect insights and inform government responses to help businesses through COVID-19 and low oil prices. The local Business Resiliency Taskforce will be receiving the results for the Grande Prairie area which will further aid in its efforts to support local businesses. It’s also vital for area businesses to complete the survey so that local needs are represented when survey results are presented to policy makers in other levels of government.

By supporting this survey, the taskforce intends to eliminate duplication of surveys for local businesses while also maintaining a strong voice that represents Alberta businesses. The survey can be found at the Business Resiliency webpage under ‘COVID-19 and low oil prices Business Impact Survey'.

The recently launched Business Advisory Service Voucher Program is one example of the taskforce’s local response to business needs. Information gathered from the survey will help shape how the taskforce continues to the respond as the situation evolves.

The Business Advisory Service Voucher Program is ongoing, and businesses are accepted on a first come first serve basis. To learn more about the program and to apply, visit the Business Resiliency page on the Chamber’s website.
