A parking ban on priority 1 and 2 routes begins on January 2 and will be in effect until further notice. 

The parking ban restricts parking on priority 1 and 2 routes from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Crews are currently clearing priority 1 routes. Once completed, crews will begin clearing priority 2 routes throughout the City.

Residential Snow Clearing

A two-week round of residential snow removal has been initiated and will begin on Wednesday, January 2 in the neighbourhoods of Avondale, College Park, Swanavon, Highland Park, Smith, Morgan Meadows, Cobblestone, Creekside, Brookfield, and Riverstone.

Residential snow removal occurs in two-week rotations, initiated by the City upon heavy snow accumulations and consideration of the weather conditions. It is completed from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Residential snow removal takes place in neighbourhoods on the day before garbage pick-up day. If a neighbourhood is not completed in week one of the rotation, crews will return in week two to complete the area.

If your garbage pick-up day is Monday, snow removal crews will be in your neighbourhood on Friday.
