The City of Grande Prairie, supporting the Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF) Initiative, is excited to announce the Youth Career Discovery Expo 2024. This large-scale event is set to take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Bonnetts Energy Centre.

The Expo aims to provide teens and young adults with a dynamic platform to explore a wide range of career opportunities, discover educational paths, and realize their full potential. With a focus on interactive and engaging experiences, the event will feature exhibitors from various industries, trade associations, educational institutions, and community support organizations.

“We are thrilled to bring this unique event to our community,” said Mayor Jackie Clayton. “Our youth are the future of Grande Prairie, and the Youth Career Discovery Expo is a fantastic opportunity for them to connect with potential employers, learn about different career paths, and get inspired. The City of Grande Prairie is seeking exhibitors who are excited to showcase their occupation or business. Preference may be given to those offering interactive elements such as simulations, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and tools of the trade. Employers offering youth employment or summer job opportunities are also welcome.
