Proclamation

Mayor Jackie Clayton proclaimed October 15-21 Small Business Week in Grande Prairie to honor the contribution small business owners and employees make to strengthen our local economy.

Delegations

Sarah Card presented to Council to thank the City for their support of the 2023 Bear Creek Folk Festival and provide an update.

Frank Skolly inquired about signage at City entrances to promote community service groups.

Debra Gustavson represented the Mission Heights Neighbourhood Association to discuss naturalization.



Residents Brooke Blaikie and Dan Schwanke also expressed feedback on the naturalization pilot project.

Emergency Community Group Funding

Council approved Emergency Community Group Funding in the amount of $26,000 to the Elders Caring Shelter Society.

Land Use Bylaw Amendment C-1260-173

Council passed Land Use Bylaw Amendment C-1260-173 to rezone the subject property from Arterial Commercial to Rural Industrial facilitate the development of a RV trailer storage.
