Ravindar Rupana presented to Council on behalf of Apple/Green Cabs to speak on road safety related to cab companies.

Council directed Administration to refer the Vehicle for Hire Bylaw to the appropriate standing committee for further discussion, and explore the option of a Taxi Commission.

Plaque Presentation

On behalf of Design Works Centre, City Council presented Donna Koch with a memorial plaque for former Councillor John Lehners.

Design Works Centre has gifted the plaque as a commemoration of his commitment and service to the sport of hockey and Grande Prairie Hockey Legends. The plaque will be displayed at Design Works Centre.

Grant Recommendations

Council approved funding allocations for the Pursuit of Excellence and Arts Development funds.

Community Advisory Committee Annual Report

Council received the Community Advisory Committee’s Annual Report for information. Members have been active and engaged since the Committee's inception, providing insight and recommendations on a wide variety of topics for the community.
