On Thursday, August 26 all traffic travelling southbound into the city on 100 Street will be detoured west at 139 Avenue.

The closure is required to safely complete the deep storm infrastructure installation and to maintain a safe distance between traffic and open excavations. The detour will be in place for approximately three days and signage will be posted to direct drivers.

Northbound traffic on 100 Street will be reduced to a single lane, but traffic flows will be maintained throughout construction.

Drivers are reminded to plan extra time for the drive with caution, obey all posted signage, and follow the direction of flag persons if present.

Construction on the entire project is expected to be complete by late September, weather permitting.
