The City’s Road Rehabilitation Program moves to Crystal Ridge Road between 123 Avenue and 116 Avenue, including the 121 Avenue cul-de-sac on Monday, September 14, weather permitting.

Crystal Ridge Road is undergoing a full road reconstruction and will see the addition of a new sidewalk on the east side of the roadway.

Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be maintained during construction. Motorists should expect delays as traffic flow will be reduced as crews work in the area; alternating lanes will be maintained. Everyone is reminded to watch for workers in all construction zones and to pay attention to all posted signage.

The City appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding during this construction season.

Construction along Crystal Ridge Road is anticipated to be complete by the end of October.

Background Information

Road reconstruction involves removing the existing road structure and replacing it with a new one. A full reconstruction occurs when the roadway is past the point of intervention.
