The Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership (GPLIP) is currently completing a survey for immigrants living in Grande Prairie to better understand the local perspective and COVID-19 impacts.
Currently, GPLIP has identified six main priorities for their work
- Housing
- Education/language
- Employment
- Health and wellness
- Settlement services
- Inclusion
The survey is designed to capture whether these priorities are aligned with the lived experience of local immigrants in Grande Prairie, as well as to identify any additional priorities.
Results are being used to help GPLIP plan and address local immigrant needs and concerns.
Landed immigrants, permanent residents, non-permanent residents, and refugees are all invited to complete the survey available at cityofgp.com/gplip from March 1- 15.
GPLIP thanks all participants for providing their feedback and helping improve local settlement services.
