Beginning Thursday, July 26, southbound traffic on 100 St between 101 Ave and 99 Ave will be reduced to one lane.

The lane closure will occur for approximately one week and minor traffic delays are expected. Northbound traffic will be unaffected.

Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to follow posted detour signs and speed limits, and to allow some extra time when travelling through the downtown core.

The lane reduction will allow crews to replace and upgrade the underground water, storm, and sanitary lines as part of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project.

The Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project is a multi-phase initiative designed to create a modern, revitalized downtown through necessary underground infrastructure upgrades and streetscape improvements.
