The City of Grande Prairie is hosting a free public skate at the Design Works Centre on Sunday, December 18 from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. sponsored by Industrial Metalwork.

Free public skating availability is first-come, first-served during the skate time.

Industrial Metalwork staff will be on site handing out soup, sandwiches and hot chocolate as well as hosting a toy fundraiser during the skate.

The free public skate is part of a naming rights agreement for the Industrial Metalwork Arena in the facility. Naming rights partnerships create a positive impact and help promote active lifestyles in the community.
