NOTICE OF HEARING - SUBDIVISION AND DEVELOPMENT APPEAL BOARD
An appeal has been filed against approved Development Permit PL260245 for a motel expansion, building addition and new building with a variance to reduce the front yard setback from 6.1 metres to 3.0 metres (variance of 51%) and to reduce the required parking stalls from 72 stalls to 63 stalls (variance of 13%). The permit was approved August 4, 2026. The subject property is located at:

The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) will hold a Public Hearing as follows:
- Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
- Time: 2:00 p.m.
- Location: First Floor City Hall (10205 – 98th Street), in Council Chambers
- Appellant: M.N. Bernhardt Holdings Ltd.
Persons affected by this development have the right to present a written, verbal and/or visual submission to the Board. In accordance to the legislation governing the SDAB, the Board can only consider relevant planning matters when rendering its decision.
