Grande Prairie City Council invites residents to attend the annual Council’s Interfaith Lunch on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Teresa Sargent Hall.
The Interfaith Lunch brings together residents and faith leaders from across the community to share in connection, dialogue and mutual understanding. Each year, the event features thought-provoking messages from speakers and organizations that explore the role of faith in community.
This year’s featured speaker is Lyndon Wall, founder of Refresh Ministries, who will present on the theme, “Faith-Informed Citizenship: How People of Faith can Help Build a Better City.” He served as a pastor in Canada for fourteen years and as a Pastor to Missionaries before founding Refresh Ministries fifteen years ago. Through this work, Wall focuses on encouraging and equipping leaders to live and lead well.
“This year’s theme highlights how faith can inspire active citizenship and compassion in our daily lives,” said Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “By coming together across beliefs to share values of kindness, service and respect, we strengthen the sense of community that helps build a better city for everyone.”
Tickets for this year’s event are $25 for adults and $15 for youth aged 24 and under, available online through the Bonnetts Energy Centre Box Office.
