GP Transit Quest is a free, month-long scavenger hunt that invites youth to explore Grande Prairie, build confidence using transit and discover new destinations across the city. Participants will use the Goosechase app to complete missions, learn how to navigate transit and take on a summer adventure at their own pace.

Date: August 1–31, 2026
Time: Participants can complete missions at their own pace throughout August.
Location: Various locations across Grande Prairie, beginning at the Towne Centre Mall Transit Hub.
Cost: Free with Youth SUPERPASS

Event Activities:

• Complete transit-themed missions using the Goosechase app.
• Visit five destinations across Grande Prairie, including:
  • Towne Centre Mall Transit Hub
  • Community Knowledge Campus / Eastlink Centre
  • Northwestern Polytechnic Transit Hub
  • Prairie Mall
  • Grande Prairie Museum & Heritage Village - Muskoseepi Park
•  Learn how to plan routes, make transfers and confidently use Grande Prairie Transit.
• Explore destinations that can be accessed using the Youth SUPERPASS.
• Receive a complimentary Eastlink Centre day pass for participating.
• Complete all five missions for a chance to win an iPad.
• Visit Prairie Mall and complete the mission for a chance to be one of the first 10 participants to receive a $20 Prairie Mall gift card.

Additional information:
Participants must use a smartphone or tablet to access the Goosechase app. Youth ages 13 and under should complete the quest with a parent or guardian.

Youth ride free with their Youth SUPERPASS. Parents, guardians and other accompanying adults are welcome to join the adventure but are responsible for regular transit fares.

Who can participate?
GP Transit Quest is open to youth ages 6 to 17. Participants can complete the quest independently or with family and friends. Youth ages 13 and under should participate with a parent or guardian.

Prizes and rewards
All participants receive a complimentary Eastlink Centre day pass. Participants who complete all five missions will be entered for a chance to win an iPad. Prairie Mall is also supporting the event by providing $20 gift cards to the first 10 participants who complete the Prairie Mall mission.
