The City of Grande Prairie is excited to bring back GirlZone, an activity-based day for girls ages 10 to 15 this October! GirlZone aims to encourage young women to try new skills and recreational activities in a non-judgemental setting with their peers. The event also attempts to address the decline of girls’ participation in sports during adolescence while creating a safe and inclusive space for participants to try new things.
