2025 Experience Grande Prairie, presented by Arby's, featuring The Trews!

Grande Prairie’s signature summer celebration is back for its fourth year, filling the City Centre with a free outdoor concert, local food, family fun and community pride. Experience Grande Prairie 2025 brings residents and visitors together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and connection.

This year’s headliner, The Trews, will light up the stage with their legendary rock anthems and high-energy show. With four gold-certified albums, 19 Top 10 hits on Canadian rock radio and six Juno nominations, they’ve become one of Canada’s most celebrated rock acts — and they’re bringing the energy straight to the heart of our city. 

Experience Grande Prairie 2025 is presented by Arby’s and the City of Grande Prairie, in partnership with Rock 97.7 and supported by the Downtown Association.

Entertainment Lineup:

Alongside The Trews (hitting the stage at 9 p.m.), enjoy performances by an incredible lineup of special guests: 

• Markevich Youth Band (4:30 p.m.) – showcasing local talent from the Markevich Creative Studio’s Rock Camp program.
• McKindred (5:30 p.m.) – a soulful Americana band delivering rich instrumentation and all the harmonies.
• Hey! Driver (7:00 p.m.)  – Alberta’s own indie rockers bringing bold energy and catchy hooks.
• BrassTactics (Between sets & on stage @ 8:15 p.m.)  – the high-octane brass band you’ve seen hyping up crowds at Oilers games!

Activities & Entertainment:

• Community Booths (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.) – Local organizations offering interactive activities and information
• Children’s Activities (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.) – Featuring face painting, balloon animals, stilt walkers and more, sponsored by Park Property Management Group
• Interactive Activities (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.) – Oversized lawn games and classic summer fun, sponsored by Western Star & Freightliner Trucks
• Food Vendors* (4 p.m. - 11 p.m.) – A diverse selection of food options available on-site throughout the event
• Beer Gardens* (4 p.m. - 11 p.m.) – Serving cold drinks through the evening, with last call at 10 p.m.
