Join us in celebrating Alberta Day with free recreation and heritage experiences across Grande Prairie on Saturday, August 29.

Swim, skate, get active or explore local history with free activities at City recreation and heritage facilities throughout the day.

All activities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. See facility schedules below for details.

Eastlink Centre | 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Enjoy free access to:

• West Fraser Fieldhouse
• Fitness centre
• Walking and running track
• Squash courts

Free public swimming

• Wave 1: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a dive contest at noon
• Wave 2: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., with a dive contest at 2:30 p.m.

Aquatics amenities include the steam room, sauna, 25 m program pool, limited lane swimming, free swim area in the 50 m competition pool, FlowRider, splash park and yellow slide, wading pool and hot tubs.
