
Put the kettle on! Residents are invited to enjoy a timeless tradition at one of the city’s most cherished heritage sites. Afternoon tea at the Reverend Forbes Homestead returns this July and August, offering a unique opportunity to experience local history, treats and the warmth of a historic gathering place.
Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the Grande Prairie Museum by calling 780-830-7090.
Teas take place at 2 p.m. on the following days:
Afternoon tea costs $10 per person and includes a large scone (choice of plain, raisin or cheese), jam, butter and choice of tea, coffee or juice. The teatime includes room to ensure participants can tour the homestead during their visit.
