Summer is ending on a high note at Experience Grande Prairie!

Join us on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. outside Bonnetts Energy Centre for an evening of live music, local flavour, family-friendly activities, and community connection.

This year’s celebration is headlined by Canadian rock legends Trooper, bringing decades of iconic hits to the Experience GP stage, including Raise a Little Hell, Here for a Good Time, and The Boys in the Bright White Sports Car.

The live entertainment lineup also features local and regional talent, including:

Markevich Youth Band
Featuring young musicians from Markevich Creative Studio’s Rock Camp program.

Brad Sims
A dynamic First Nations country singer-songwriter known for powerful vocals and engaging live performances.

The Northbloods
A Grande Prairie band with a distinct sound that can only be described as hauntingly magnetic.

Along with live music, attendees can enjoy interactive community booths, children’s activities, and games inside The Bowes, creating a fun and welcoming space for families to connect and explore.

Outside, H.A. Rice Plaza will feature a variety of food vendors throughout the evening, offering plenty of options to enjoy while taking in the celebration.

Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and community.

Experience Grande Prairie is presented by the City of Grande Prairie in partnership with 97.7 Rock, with support from the Downtown Association and supporting stage sponsorship from Servus Credit Union.
