The City of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to share their input as planning begins for the 2027 municipal budget.
The 2027 budget engagement provides residents with an opportunity to help shape the City’s budget by identifying priorities for municipal services, programs and infrastructure. Community feedback will be considered by Council during the 2027 budget planning process.
"Public engagement is an important part of the budget process," said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. "We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their priorities and help inform decisions that will shape our community."
Residents can participate online by:
- Completing the budget prioritization tool
- Viewing their municipal tax breakdown
- Submitting suggestions in the idea space
- Asking questions directly to City administration
Residents are also invited to attend an in-person engagement session on Monday, September 21, from 4-7 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre where they can connect with City staff, ask questions and provide feedback.
Community members are encouraged to participate by visiting engage.cityofgp.com/2027-budget-engagement. The online page will be open from August 11 to October 1, 2026.
