The City of Grande Prairie begins the remaining work for the 2022 Trail Program consisting of a trail and storm connection project located at the northwest corner of 108 Street & 100 Avenue.

The project includes the installation of a storm catch basin, drainage repairs, as well as the installation of gravel and pavement for the trail connection.

Trail users and pedestrians are advised to obey construction signs and use alternate routes as necessary. Road users and motorists will not be affected by the construction.

The project is underway and is anticipated to be completed by May 20.

The City is committed to enhancing the safety and accessibility of its trail network for all users. This project is an important part of the City's ongoing efforts to provide safe and convenient connections for pedestrians and cyclists throughout the community.
