Grande Prairie Triathlon
Now in its second year as the Grande Prairie Triathlon, the event builds on the long-standing success of the former Eastlink Centre Triathlon while continuing to offer an inclusive and inspiring race experience. Open to athletes of all skill levels, from ages 3 to 99+, the triathlon welcomes everyone, from first-time participants to seasoned competitors.
The annual Grande Prairie Triathlon returns on July 12, 2026, inviting participants to swim, bike and run their way to the finish line.
The Grande Prairie Triathlon is a Triathlon Alberta sanctioned event, and all athletes must hold a valid Triathlon Alberta membership to participate.
2026 Race Details
Road, Transit and Aquatics Impacts
Temporary road closures, transit adjustments and aquatics closures are in effect July 11 and 12 for the Grande Prairie Triathlon. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
