Grants Available to Neighbourhood Associations

Grants Available to Neighbourhood Associations

The City offers two grants to support Neighbourhood Associations.

Neighbourhood Association Operating Grant

The City is committed to continuing to support our Neighbourhood Associations in building capacity to allow them to provide positive impacts within our Neighbourhoods and the Grande Prairie community.

All active and registered Neighbourhood Associations are eligible for a $2,500 grant each year to support the association's operations. These applications are due by September 15 of each year, the application form can be found here.

Community Improvement Grant

Neighbourhood Associations help keep their areas clean and safe while hosting a variety of community-building events and championing projects to meet the needs of the community.

The City of Grande Prairie has a Community Improvement Grant available to non-profits to bring residents together with a common goal to help meet these needs. If you have any questions about a potential project in your Neighbourhood please email commrecdev@cityofgp.com for support with the planning process.
