Drivers should expect overnight delays, detours and changing traffic patterns beginning tonight as roadway rehabilitation work continues at the intersections of 100 Avenue and 108 Street and 100 Avenue and 116 Street.

Overnight asphalt milling, paving and pavement marking activities will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. as crews complete key phases of the project.

Construction activities will move between the two intersections throughout the project to help maintain traffic flow along the corridor. While short-term closures and detours may be required at various stages of construction, both intersections are not expected to be fully closed at the same time.

The most significant traffic impacts are anticipated on June 2, 3 and 5. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted signage, plan alternate routes where possible and allow extra travel time when travelling through the area.

Transit service may experience delays while work is underway. No stop closures are currently anticipated; however, updates will be provided if service adjustments become necessary.

Overnight milling, paving and pavement marking activities are being scheduled during these hours to help minimize impacts to daytime commuter traffic.

The project is anticipated to be completed by mid-June, weather permitting.

The City thanks residents and commuters for their patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

Construction schedules and current traffic impacts are available through the Traffic Planner Map at cityofgp.com/construction.
