The Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscape project is progressing and moving east this weekend.

100 Avenue between 99 Street and 98 Street is closing to parking starting Friday, June 18 and will be closed to traffic starting Saturday, June 19. These closures will be in place for the remainder of the construction season as they are required for the contractor to safely carryout roadway and sidewalk removals and extend the work zone.

Pedestrian access remains open. As the project progresses, the existing sidewalks will be removed and replaced with temporary sidewalks to maintain access.

The City thanks everyone for their continued patience and understanding while the downtown core undergoes major construction. Downtown remains open for business and everyone is encouraged to continue to support downtown businesses.
