The City of Grande Prairie invites residents to share their feedback as part of the 2026 Resident Satisfaction Survey. This survey helps the City better understand residents’ perspectives on City services, community priorities and quality of life in Grande Prairie.

The survey is being completed through telephone surveying via Forum Research and is also available online from June 11th to July 2nd.

The Resident Satisfaction Survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and asks residents about their satisfaction with current City services, perspectives on property taxes and how resources are allocated, preferred communication methods, and key community priorities. The survey provides an independent and reliable measure of resident satisfaction with municipal services and helps the City better understand what residents care about, how services are performing, and how community perspectives and priorities are changing over time.

“The Resident Satisfaction Survey is one of the City’s most significant engagement initiatives, and part of our commitment to purposeful leadership and governance” said Mayor Jackie Clayton “This survey gives people a chance to share what’s working, what could be better, and what matters most to them. Resident input helps advance Council’s Strategic Plan and ensures we continue to build a safe, active, and welcoming community where people feel connected and empowered to contribute. I encourage everyone who is contacted to take a few minutes to participate and help shape the future of our community”

Completing the Resident Satisfaction Survey

Beginning June 11, residents may receive a telephone call inviting them to participate in the survey. The telephone surveying will connect with both landlines and cellphones and helps ensure the City receives feedback from a representative sample size of the community for statistically valid results. .

Residents not contacted by phone can still participate by completing the survey on the City’s engagement website engage.cityofgp.com beginning June 11th.

All responses are kept confidential and combined for reporting purposes, meaning no individual participants can be identified.

Once complete, the 2026 results will be compared with past surveys and data from other municipalities to help inform long-term planning and set priorities. Findings will be shared publicly following the survey period.

The City of Grande Prairie thanks residents for their input and looks forward to using the results to help shape a strong, vibrant future for the community.
