UPDATE – July 10, 2025
Additional roadwork is taking place at the intersection of 84 Avenue and Mission Heights Drive on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, ahead of the traffic shift beginning Sunday.

Crews are pulverizing and stabilizing the existing road base in the intersection, followed by paving the bottom lift of asphalt. Access to and from Mission Heights Drive will be affected and traffic will be reduced to one lane, with alternating traffic at times. Commuters should expect extended delays and consider alternate routes where possible.

As part of ongoing construction on 84 Avenue, both westbound lanes between Mission Heights Drive and just before the bridge will be closed starting Sunday, July 13.

To maintain two-way traffic, vehicles will be shifted to the eastbound lanes. This temporary configuration is expected to remain in place throughout the week, weather and site conditions permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, follow signage and use caution near crews.
