Starting tomorrow, July 8, the intersection of 108 Street & 116 Avenue closes to north and southbound traffic for seven days. The closure is necessary to facilitate base gravel repairs, full depth reclamation and paving operations.

During this time, traffic on 116 Avenue is not permitted to turn north on 108 Street.

Detours are in place for northbound and southbound traffic on 108 Street north of 116 Avenue (Centre 2000 Intersection), redirecting traffic along 117 Avenue to the 105 Street intersection.

Northbound traffic is not permitted on 108 Street, and those travelling north must proceed east or west at 116 Avenue. Traffic on 116 Avenue is permitted to turn south onto 106 Street.

East and westbound traffic on 116 Avenue will continue to flow through this intersection without interruption.

Once base gravel repairs, full depth reclamation and paving operations are completed, the intersection of 106 Street and 108 Street reopens to traffic.
