Private Facility Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Every Saturday and Sunday starting June 8 (weather permitting).
Visitors can book one-hour rentals from:
- 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
- 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Visitors can book two-hour rentals from:
- 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Online booking for private facility rentals is available up to two weeks in advance through the booking platform on this page or at cityofgp.com/programs.
Private facility rentals can now be made for any time in the summer with a minimum seven days advance notice before the event by contacting bookings@cityofgp.com.

Private Aquatera Outdoor Pool rentals include:
- Access to the entire aquatics area, inclusive of:
- Tots pool.
- Zero beach.
- Spanish steps and lily islands.
- Green space and leisure picnic area.
- Waterslide.
- Changeroom facilities.
- Life jackets.
- Set up and take down.
- Lifeguards.

All facility closures due to inclement weather and AQHI would warrant a full refund or an offer to reschedule to the booking recipient. Cancellation timelines are:
- A customer will receive a full refund for facility booking fees paid in advance when the customer provides notice of cancellation five (5) business days (120 hours) or more in advance of the booking date.
- A customer will receive a partial refund, equal to 50% of the facility booking fees, when the customer provides between three (3) to five (5) business days (72 to 120 hours) notice of cancellation. If the deposit paid for the Facility Booking was less than 50% of the facility booking fees, the customer will be responsible to pay the difference between the deposit and 50% of the facility booking fees.
- If cancellation notice is provided with less than three (3) business days notice (72 hours), no refund will be issued. The customer is responsible to pay the entire amount of the facility booking fees. Are there any restrictions on decorations, food and beverages, or other event extras?
Changeroom access is included in the rental time frame. We encourage those with a rental to come to the Aquatera Outdoor Pool prepared by wearing their swim suits under their clothes for a quick change so they can make the most of their time at the outdoor pool.
Yes! We just ask that food be kept on the green space.
Please note that some floaties or water toys could be considered a hazard and lifeguards may ask for specific items to be put away during your rental.
Yes!
We encourage you to bring the following as they are not provided as part of the rental:
- Bathing suit.
- Towels.
- Goggles.
- Sunscreen.
- Water toys and floaties.

Parent to child ratio is 1:3 for children under the age of eight. Children under eight must be within arm's reach at all times. Children aged eight to nine must be supervised by a responsible adult. Ages 10 and older can be at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool unsupervised.
Setup and takedown of decorations must be completed within the one or two-hour rental period. Decorations that pose a health and safety risk to the public or staff will be required to be removed. Decorations that may be offensive or discriminatory are not permitted.
Food and beverages are only allowed in the designated grass area. Barbecues and glass items are not permitted.
