The City of Grande Prairie is committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all residents and visitors utilizing our recreational facilities. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the Crystal Lake Bike Skills Park, we will be temporarily closing a section of the park for maintenance work.

Effective from June 26 to 30, weather permitting, the large hill on the northwest side of the bike skills park will be closed. During this period, users will see a clearly marked-off area with a snow fence and 'Crew Working' signage.

The maintenance work is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability and safety of the Crystal Lake Bike Skills Park. Our dedicated crew will be working diligently to complete the maintenance tasks as efficiently as possible, allowing users to resume their enjoyment of the park promptly.

The City of Grande Prairie encourages park visitors to respect the closures and exercise caution in the vicinity of the marked-off area. Your cooperation in adhering to the closure and following all posted signs is greatly appreciated, as it will contribute to the overall safety and successful completion of the maintenance work.
